MELI PEREA presents "LODO", a transformative theme, a song that encourages the construction of our own paths, evoking a creative and strong intention, freeing ourselves from the power we have given to the words of others about our own path. In this new work, Meli has once again collaborated with Ancestral Beats, blending rhythms such as mapalé, Cuban bembé, and turreo. "LODO" has a more electronic component, an upbeat tempo, and lyrics that empower, heal, and inspire to create and believe.
In the "LODO" clip, dance plays a fundamental role, expressing through movement the journey we undertake, the struggles, obstacles, and the path leading us to our roots, to find our essence. The recording has been a beautiful process with the dance group "La Cofradía," most of them Cuban, led by Mario Elias Leiva, the protagonist of the video, with whom they have shared the creative process.
