Tanille | EP: 'Feel It (The Remixes )'

Tanille, Feel It

Feel It (The Remixes) is undoubtedly a notable contribution of Tanille’s best for the listening audience; a fine blend of quality vocals, complementary back-up vocals, and engaging instrumentals, all mostly blended into an offering of dance music. One is understandably sure to be expectant of more from her.

Tanille’s EP, Feel It (The Remixes) was released in 2016, featuring tracks like Baby Come Back, Always Forever Baby, Cameo Rmx, Feel It. Since its release to online music stores, the EP has garnered considerable media attention.

Tanille is based in New York. Besides being a songwriter and an independent artist, she is a published author with two novels to her credit. Her being a proponent for going green advised the creation of ‘Jordan & Justine’s Weekend Adventures’, targeted at young children.

The frequent references to heartbreak and love, especially in ‘Cameo Rmx’, ‘Feel It’ and ‘Baby Come Back’ suggests romance to be the central theme of the EP. But with the exception of ‘Always Forever Baby’, the rhythmic instrumental accompaniment inspires a party mood in the listener.

The vocal quality of the component tracks is as much melodious as it is consistent in quality. However, the sound accompaniment claims so much of the foreground hence making the listener lose out on the lyrics. The lyrical delivery of ‘Feel It’ is exceptionally easy-flowing. Rhythmically, the songs are engaging, with ‘Always Forever Baby’, and ‘Cameo Rmx’ boasting a solid bassline. The rich assortment of sound instruments is obvious, as much as their tasteful arrangement. It is quite a show of mastery on the part of the producer in his responsible use of digital effects. Quite remarkable is the richly complementary back-up vocals in each one of the tracks. The choruses are equally catchy.
